Today, recruiting problems in companies seem to be what most concerns employers. Yet technology can provide somewhat of a solution to this problem, as artificial intelligence makes it possible to develop cobots (collaborative robots) which, in turn, can assist employees with little training in tasks that require at times, the sharpest expertise. A cobot makes a diagnosis of the situation in English, advises the employee, guides him through executing intellectual tasks, and possibly even argues to explain the decision taken. This wage earner/cobot couple increases work efficiency, as well as the overall satisfaction of those who obtain jobs for which they have no specific training. The employer can therefore recruit less trained but often more motivated employees. In our book on artificial intelligence, “The rise of the Cobot”, available on Amazon, a full chapter is dedicated to these cobots that companies are deploying en masse in the US.
